Superman Returns

The official web site for Superman Returns has opened. Check it out at http://supermanreturns.warnerbros.com/. If you are planning on seeing the new Harry Potter movie, the Superman Returns trailer will be shown at the beginning of this movie. I planned on seeing Harry Potter anyway, so I now I just have more incentive to go. I am definitely looking forward to this movie especially after Batman Begins.

Marvel Legends Series 12 Loose Pics

Click on the link below to view pics of loose Marvel Legends 12 figures. They actually look very good. I wasn’t terribly exited about this series. Now that I see them I am leaning towards getting all of them and completing the Apocalypse.

Made for TV Blade Movie

I believe I had heard something about a Blade TV series being made and now we have more details. This is actually the first I have heard of it. Production has begun on a Blade movie that is being made for Spike TV. Kirk “Sticky” Jones, recently of FX’s Over There, has signed to star as Blade. David Goyer, who wrote all three Blade movies and directed Blade: Trinity, will serve as executive producer and co-wrote the film with Geoff Johns. It is currently scheduled to debut in June. Check out the full story at Comics Continuum.

Marvel Legends Series 12 Packaged

Yes, Marvel Legends series 12 have shown up in England even though series 11 has not even shown up in the United States yet and it seems like we just got series 10. You can see pictures of Marvel Legends series 12 in the packaging over at SuperHeroTimes.com. Correct me if I’m wrong, but is that a variant of X-23? If it is, that means this series has six figures and now five variants. Wow.

Don’t read further if you don’t want it spoiled. Okay, you’ve been warned.

Thomas Hayden Church will be playing Flint Marko aka the Sandman. Check out an image of Church as Sandman over at Comics Continuum.

Marvel Select Spider-Woman Revealed

A prototype of the Marvel Select Spider-Woman figure premiered at Wizard World Texas this weekend. Click on the link and head on over to the TNI site for pics. Based on her appearances in the New Avengers, the Spider-Woman figure will have multiple points of articulation and be in-scale with past Marvel Select figures. While the exact sculpt of the Marvel Select Spider-Woman is not determined yet, it will be taken from her most recent adventures as a member of the New Avengers and will be sculpted by Sam Greenwell.

I personally am a big fan of Spider-Woman and am looking forward to this figure. I don’t own any Marvel Select figures but I will be picking this one up. I hope they release a better picture and a final sculpt soon.
