Superman Returns Toys

Superman Returns Toys is a web site from Mattel designed to showcase their new line of Superman toys based on the upcoming summer movie, Superman Returns. While this movie is sure to be a hit, it remains to be seen if the toys will be very exciting. The Batman toys weren’t really a hit with collectors, but I don’t know how they fared with the children. With so many variations of Batman, you wonder.
The site doesn’t really feature action figures, but it does showcase the Punch ‘n Crush Gloves, Inflato-suit, Ultimate Powers Superman and remote controlled flying Superman. The action figures line is already hitting some stores and lame Superman variations abound. There is a superposeable Superman figure and a 13″ Superman figure, similar to the surprisingly cool Batman that was released. These two figures show some promise but are scheduled to show up later.
