Marvel Legends Series 13: Update
— October 3, 2005 Leave a Comment
I posted this info on Marvel Legends 12 and 13 over the weekend. Now, I knew that it was not official, but it would seem that Jesse Falcon from Toy Biz has discounted this info. Jesse Falcon is one of the managers at Toy Biz who has a lot to do with the Marvel Legends product line. You can read what he posted here. Here is the gist of it:
- He is really pissed that this info was leaked. One of the reasons is that it is old and no longer accurate.
- He says proof that the information is inaccurate is that Crimson Dynamo is no longer part of the line up.
- He also says that series 13 will not have the pack in villian henchmen, the reason being that it was not cost efficient. According to what he says, 13 will have a different pack in that everyone will love even more.
- He indicates that he is trying to get the henchmen made in some way, but wouldn’t say what it is and that he has to convince the higher ups at the company first.
You should note that most people accept that this is “the” Jesse Falcon and that what he says is truthful, but there isn’t any actual proof. I thought he was very rude and unprofessional in his post, even though he has a right to be pissed and is obviously being sarcastic at some points. It’s obvious that he is just as much a fan as we are though, and he is really trying to make the line cool for the fans. He said at one point the pack in henchmen were going to be 5″ tall and have 3 points of articulation, but is glad they didn’t do it because that would have sucked. I agree and am glad they didn’t do it that way either. I guess we’ll have to wait for Toy Fair to find out unless somebody else leaks something again.
