Snake Eyes Mini-bust from Diamond Select

Take a look at the new G.I. Joe Snake Eyes mini-bust from Diamond Select. I am really looking forward to this new line of G.I. Joe mini-busts. I don’t believe I am going to be getting all of these, but I can’t pass up this Snake Eyes bust. These new busts were shown recently at the San Diego Comic Con. The Beachhead mini-bust shown there also looks like it will be too good to pass up.
Action-Figure.com has a gallery of the G.I. Joe busts from the SDCC here. By looking at the pictures, they showed 4 but you can see others in the backgrounds. Here were the ones that were featured along with release dates.

- Shipwreck - May 2007
- Beachhead - June 2007
- Lady Jaye - July 2007
The mini-busts will retail for $45. In the background you can see, Gung Ho and Snake Eyes, plus a Destro statue. DST has also previously announced Cobra Commander and Zartan mini-busts.
I hope these catch on and Diamond Select makes a lot more of them. I think mini-busts are becoming more and more popular with collectors these days. With the fact that G.I. Joe is still one of the most popular toy lines to date, the future looks promising.

I’m definitely getting Snake-Eyes. The only other one I am psyched about right now is Beachhead. These are only 4 inches tall though, so they may be too small for some people. I hope they announce some more cool characters, like Storm Shadow.
