What Will Happen in Spider-Man 4?

After having seen Spider-Man 3, my thoughts are turning to Spider-Man 4, specifically what is left for the Marvel movie writers to tackle in the next movie. There are still plenty of Spider-Man villains left to choose from. I am talking about important storylines from the comics.
Is it possible that all the major Spider-Man storylines have either been done or can’t be done due to the movie continuity already having been established? Here are some major Spider-Man storylines and why they can or can’t be done in the future.
The Night Gwen Stacy Died - Amazing Spider-Man #121-122, June - July 1973
Trying to spoil as little as possible, I will say that this story could still be done in a future movie, although without the Green Goblin, as he is dead in current movie continuity. This story depends on Spider-Man’s relationship with Gwen Stacy. In the movies, Spider-Man’s love interest is Mary Jane. However, the writers could change all that in a future movie if Peter breaks up with Mary Jane and starts dating Gwen Stacy.
Spider-Man No More! - Amazing Spider-Man #50, July 1967
In this comic, Spider-Man temporarily gives up being a superhero by tossing his costume in the trash. This storyline was done in Spider-Man 2. Although the writers could revisit this theme in a future movie, it would be wise not to.
The Drug Issues - Amazing Spider-Man #96-98, May - July 1971
This storyline was important because it depicted the negative effects of drug use by showing Harry Osborn addcited to drugs. This storyline could be used in a future movie, although specifics will have to be changed due to what happened in Spider-Man 3. However, the importance of this story is the social statement that was made, something Marvel may not be willing to do here.
Crossovers
Many important Spider-Man stories involved crossovers, where characters in other Marvel comics had major involvement in the storyline. This seems unlikely for any Marvel movies, although still possible.
Spider-Man’s Wedding - Amazing Spider-Man Annual #21, 1987
In 1987, Peter Parker and Mary Jane got married. This is definitely possible, and likely, in a future Spider-Man movie.
The Black Costume/Alien Symbiote - Amazing Spider-Man #252-258, May - Nov. 1984
Go see Spider-Man 3. ‘Nuff said.
The Clone Saga - 1975 and 1994-96
There are 2 clone stories in Spider-Man’s history. The first would be good for the movies, although it involved Gwen Stacy back when she was Peter’s girlfriend. The second one has been much maligned by fans since it ended. Probably not the best idea for Marvel, although never say never.
So what’s left? Although it’s possible I have overlooked something, those are the most important Spider-Man storylines I know of. It looks like slim pickings for those Marvel movie writers. So to speculate what lies ahead for Spider-Man 4 and beyond, let’s look at the villains.
As I said, Spidey does have plenty of villians left. Here is quick rundown of important Spider-Man villians, and which ones we could possibly see in the future.
The Green Goblin
The Green Goblin story has been done in the Spider-Man movies. As we know, the movie Goblin is now dead, so the character cannot be used in future movies. It is my opinion though that many of the great Spider-Man stories involve the Goblin. However, in the comics, the Goblin was resurrected and returned to appear in many comics. The only way the movie writers can use the Goblin in any future stories is to resurrect him. This seems unlikely, though Marvel movie writers have already done this for Elektra.
Doctor Octopus
Doc Ock was also killed in the movies and can no longer be used unless the writers resurrect him.
Spider-Man 3 Villians
I won’t reveal any spoilers here, but if you have seen the movie you know which characters die and which live, so you know which ones can or cannot be used in future movies without resurrection.
The Kingpin
If the Kingpin hadn’t already been done in Daredevil, and poorly I might add, this villain would be a great choice.
The Lizard
A strong possibility since Dr. Curt Connors has already made his appearance in the movies.
The Hobgoblin
This seems like an obvious choice but one the writers might be unwilling to do as 2 of the movies already have had Goblins in them. Never rule anything out however.
Carnage
Carnage could be a good possibility since we now have Venom in the movies.
The Rest
There are plenty of Spidey villains left, Scorpion, Electro, Kraven, Mysterio, Vulture, Chameleon, Rhino, Shocker, etc. The list goes on. My point is that I don’t know if any landmark stories that involved any of these villains.
On the surface, there is still may be much for the writers of Spider-Man 4 to choose from. And have no doubt, they are doing Spider-Man 4, in fact they are probably already working on it. Upon closer inspection though, the Spider-Man movies may have already used the best material from the comics or can’t use it due to established movie continuity. In the latter case, it would be very easy for Marvel to make changes to make those stories movie-worthy. But is that the right direction to go in? Maybe not.
There are plenty of other Marvel characters and stories that have not been done that might be better for Marvel to do instead of another Spider-Man sequel. Spider-Man 3 was good, don’t get me wrong, but what about Captain America, Nick Fury, the Avengers, Thor, Namor, etc. I know that a lot of those are already being done or are in the works, but if I was at Marvel now, I would be putting my best writers and big budgets into making those movies great, and making sure they don’t turn out like the Punisher, Hulk or, god forbid, Elektra.
spidey 4 would be brilliant if they involved a massive crossover like wolverine,lizard,catwoman,daredevil,superman and batman all joined forces against carnage,ressurected green goblin ,dr doom ,magneto and apocolypse. and they all get sent to a different realm to fight by the mysterious madame spider. and maybe there goal could be to rescue capture civillians including mary-jane and aunt may.
they could do spidey and the fantastic four team up against an evil super villian like dr.doom and maybe new yorks life could be in the balance.
i think that venom will be back some how i dont know
Then carnage comes from the venom (symbiote)
Brock is still alive and gos to jail and then he meets cletius casidy or (CARNAGE. Conors makes a antidote and poisins himself becoming lizard

Spiderman 4 should start out that peter tells aunt may that he is spiderman. He tells her thats why I’m late. Than doctor conners knocks on the door. Aunt may you have to keep it as a secret. Aunt may opens the door. Doctor conners said can I talk to peter. Peter can you come to the lab tonight at 8:00 bring gwen stacy also. Peter closed the door. Aunt may says peter you are a hero. Peter goes out he goes to gwen stacys house. she closes the door shes still mad at him after the club she leaves and walk away. Peter says i’m sorry. I love you. I just want to say if you would for give me. Doctor conners want to see us tonight at 8:00. Gwen opens the door and says yes. I will marry you. Gwen and peter kisses. And tthan it was 7:15. Peter says gwen if i’m late all the time the truth is i’m spiderman. dOCTOR CONNERS LOOKS AT HIS WATCH 7:35 HE MAKE A SHOT IN HIT ARM HE BECOMES LIZARD. he runs away. Kasedy is in this film also. He escapes from jail. He is a cereal killer. He becomes carnage. Gwens father said kasadey is your real killer
I think that the sand man will help spider man defeat the villians in the next movie because at the end of spider man 3 he let the sand man go. In spider man 4 there’s suppose to be carnage one of the strongest villians that spider manwill ever fight and there might be the DR. conners as the lizzard so then there will be two bad guys. Spider man might need some help fighting them both so I think the sand man will help him in the next movie.
what would make a super 2-3 movie series in spider-man would be if they ran the sinister six all they would have to do is utilize 6 villians that have not been used within the movies before like say electro,rhino,scorpion,vulture,lizardman, and finally a replacement for doc oc perhaps shocker or another very intelligent villian like chameleon. imagine what could be done with that type of a story line. they just need to stop killing all these villians off because this is what keeps spider-man around for all of this excitement and action.

and Venom and carnage in 6.
This is what should happen in Spider-man 3:
- Spiderman’s identity is revealed to Aunt May
- Carnage is created from Venom’s goo(Venom is pregnant)
- Dr conners becomes the Lizard and forms a Lizard army.
- Peter makes up with Mary Jane for hitting her
- Black cat teams up with Spidey
- Lizard evolves into the MegaLizard(seen in Spiderman 3
game)
- Carnage kills gwen Stacy
- MegaLizard and Carnage team up and fight Black Cat and
Spider-man at the end of movie.
- Just as Carnage and Lizard are about to defeat spidey and cat, Sandman comes in to help.
CONCLUSION
- Carnage dies and the alien goo is gone forever.
- Doctor Conners turns back to normal.
- Black cat is killed by Carnage(not long after it dies)
- Sandman goes back home to his daughter.
- Just at the movie is about to end, it shows a scene with Doc Ock rising from the water. It turns out he didn’t die (he escaped from explosion) Then Kingpin then walks up to him and asks if he’d like to join his evil army. His army has all the classic villains: Rhino, Electro,Beetle, Boomerang, Calypso, etc…TO BE CONTINUED(in Spiderman 5)
What realy happens is Dr. conners gets his arm cut of so he developse a lizard like DNA substance and uses it to grow back his arm (some lizards can grow back body parts) turning him into Lizard.Ex crimanal findes The silver godlin suit (can be seen in Spiderman 3) puts it on becoming hobgoblin. Dr.Conners (lizard man ) nocks over Venom Goo and mixes with Chemicals making it 10 times stronger gets on A suicidel person played by Jim Carry. Gwen Stacy gets turned into the Black Cat. There is a big Fight Spidey and Sandeman V.S. Well you figure it out.
I think that Black cat will be in spidey 4. She should becase spidey needs a new ally and someone to watch his back. Then Kassady gets arrested for his crimes and some of the symboite follos him to the police station. As spidey looks for connor in the sewers meanwhil a piece of the symbiote crawls into the room with Kassady and attcahes itself with kassady and becomes CARNAGE. Spidey battles lizard in the sewers and lizard runs off deep into the sewers. After that spidey fights carnage at the police station for about 15 minutes and carnage runs off. Spidey swings off to see MJ. Meanwhile spidey goes to look for Carnage and finds blackcat and they teamup to face carnage and then they find carnage and start to fight.
In the end carnage is about to use his sword but then spidey grabs it with his web. Spidey saves blackcat from carnage and then spidey leads carnage to dr. connors lab.
spidey fights carnage until he is transported to another realm and connors comes out of nowhere and spidey ducks and connors goes into the portal.
you forgot something . humm lets see . oh yeah (harry osborn). i think he should be alive and that he should help peter fight villans. hey if any of you live in Los angeles and ever see James franco tell him that a kid named Jorsan from miami,florida is a very big fan.
Beggin’ Anthony’s pardon but the way Spidey 4 goes is that CARNAGE is formed before Dr. conners becomes the lizard. he is seduced to the symbiote’s power that he is jeleous at spider man’s glory that he vows to kill the web slinger in front of the new yorkers who loves him. peter parker and mary jane watson both work things out and plan to get married finally. during the wedding, on top of the daliy bugle, CARNAGE finds out how he can find spidey by crashing the wedding and ordering peter to find spidey or else(Hint, Hint). so parker, being the knight in shining armor for N. Y., decides to fight CARNAGE but as he does, he is beaten into a coma. Dr. curt conners, stunned by peter’s accident, decides “hey i’m going to aveng parker by using my new reptillian DNA and i’ll be glad!” so as he does so, he notices complications with the DNA and is twisted into hideousness and torment. he then vows to this day that he’ll never care for peter anymore. soon he then finds out, by an anonymous tip, that peter is spidey!(DRAMATIC MUSIC)
AS for the rest, i’ll think about it with my friends. BTW,
role for spidey: tobey, yes. jake g, NO! i don’t want no brokeback mountain fag in spidey’s suit. He’ll gay up the character.
I think that things should be calm about the new spider man movie. if ideas, not thought about perfectly, are used in spidey 4, it will meet the same fate as Superman IV and Batman and Robin. but to top off EmoGirl’s Reply, carnage should beat spidey to a coma. but then who will protect new york? who’s to say he’s ready to fall? and you know what? what the F**K about electro?!! i like the idea of a wedding between pete and m. j., but if you haven’t noticed, she went to harry. sure she may have denied it, but she looooved the guy. what can i say? chicks dig cash. and for those who thought that carnage has no chance, F**K you. he’s way better than venom. the movie version of venom sucked. he kept taking his face off and for the one millionth time, EDDIE BROCK DIED! however if you like, you can here my theory. since a close-range explosion can kill you, the symbiote may have softened the blast and brock may have lived. so pray for carnage to come to being. in spiderman 2 the game you had to fight aliens . in spiderman 3 the game you fought lizard and jj jameson was tooken in a helicopter havent you found out that half of the game is what is going to happen in the next movie.
i think that in spiderman 4 venom will come back and carnage venom and dr conord (lizard man) will join forces to kill spider man catwomen and sandman
Black Cat should be Spiderman 4 because she is just awesome and Lizard and Carnage vs Spidey and Cat would ROCK and truly I wan like Cat and Spidey to win but Spidey should just like not fully trust Cat that would cause some drama
