Princess Leia Mini Bust Shipping Next Month

Diamond Comics posted the news to their retailers this week that the Princess Leia mini bust is now scheduled to ship on August 15, 2007. This gives retailers the opportunity to reduce their orders due to lateness. So this item could be seeing lots of cancellations from retailers.
Note that the Gentle Giant web site has this item listed as being released in June 2007, though it has not been available at any retailers in the US yet. Also note that the edition size is fairly high at 6000. Leia may be a popular character, but with 6,000 of them out there, this one will be available for a while.
